DAY 01 GENEVA/ZURICH – INTERLAKEN/ GRINDELWALD/WENGEN
Reach Grindelwald or Wengen by 2nd class train from the Swiss border or any Swiss airport. The choice between Grindelwald or Wengen is upto you to decide. Overnight stay at Grindelwald or Wengen.
DAY 02 INTERLAKEN/GRINDELWALD/WENGEN – EXCURSION TO JUNGFRAUJOCH
Proceed for an excursion from Grindelwald or Wengen up to the Jungfraujoch also known as the Top of Europe. The train takes you up to Kleine Scheidegg situated at the foot of the famous Eiger North Wall. Proceed further to the Jungfraujochby the Jungfrau Railway system. Situated at a height of 3454 m/11'333 ft, Jungfraujochby is the highest railway station in Europe. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier which is the longest glacier in the Alps. Overnight stay at Grindelwald or Wengen.
DAY 03 INTERLAKEN/GRINDELWALD/WENGEN – LUGANO /LOCARNO
Travel through the wonderful Bernese Oberland and the Lötschberg to Brig and further through the Centovalli in Italy to Lugano or Locarno or you can travel from Grindelwald/ Wengen via Lucerne through the Gotthard region to Lugano or Locarno. Again it is your choice to decide if you would like to stay in Lugano or Locarno. Overnight stay at Lugano or Locarno.
DAY 04 LUGANO/LOCARNO
Spend the day at leisure. Several attractive opportunities for excursions are waiting for you. Your "Special tour of Switzerland" ticket entitles you to 50% off on rail travel. Overnight stay at Lugano or Locarno.
DAY 05 LUGANO/LOCARNO – GENEVA/ZURICH
Return to the Swiss border or airport or continue your stay in Switzerland if you wish to.
