Lucerne - GoldenPassLine - Interlaken - Jungfraujoch - First- Montreux - Chocolate Train

The tour must start Tuesdays, Thursdays or Friday. If you would like to start the tour in Montreux and finish in Lucerne you need to start the tour on a Sunday, Tuesday or Wednesday.
1st day: Lucerne
Arrival in Lucerne by train from the Swiss border or airport. Overnight in Lucerne.
 2nd day: Lucerne
Lake cruise from from Lucerne to Vitznau. You pass charming villages and feel the proximity of spectacular mountains. The afternoon is at leisure. Enjoy the historical city Lucerne with the Lion Monument, the wooden Chapel Bridge which are only few of numerous places worth seeing. Overnight in Lucerne.
3rd day: Lucerne - Grindelwald / Interlaken
After breakfast board the GoldenPass Panoramic Brünig train to Interlaken. The scenery you experience is characterised by beautiful wooden chalets weathered and browned by the sun in a wonderful landscape. Overnight in Interlaken or Grindelwald.
4th day: Grindelwald / Interlaken
Excursion from Interlaken up to the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe. The Jungfrau Railway takes you up to the Jungfraujoch - at 3454m/11'333 ft the highest railway station in Europe. Experience the breadth and scope of snowcapped peaks and eternal snow of the longest glacier in Europe - the Aletsch Glacier. This region has been declared a UNESCO World Natural Heritage region in December 2001. Overnight in Interlaken or Grindelwald.
5th day: Grindelwald / Interlaken
Today you take the train to Grindelwald if you stay in Interlaken. From there an aerial gondola takes you up to the First on 2168m/7'113 ft high where you enjoy a fascinating panorama over the Swiss Alps. Overnight in Interlaken or Grindelwald.
6th day: Montreux
The GoldenPass Panoramic BLS train features special Salon Bleu carriages for 1st class passengers and takes you from Interlaken through the rural Simmental region, renowned for prosperous farms and typically Swiss cows to Zweisimmen. From there the journey continues with the GoldenPass Panoramic MOB train to Montreux. Do not miss the grandiose Views of the Lake of Geneva and its terraced vineyards. Overnight in Montreux.
7th day: Montreux
A sweet day! In Montreux you board the "Chocolate Train" with its nostalgic Belle Epoque or Panoramic carriages. On the journey a coffee and a croissant will be served to each passenger. In Gruyères you visit a cheese factory. Afterwards a bus takes you to the village centre where you will have time at your disposal for visiting the village and its castle or you might enjoy a good lunch. The bus takes you back to the station where you board the train again to Broc. The Nestlé/Cailler Chocolate factory awaits you and will show you a film about chocolate making, you will visit the factory followed by a chocolate tasting and an interesting factory sale. At 5:40 pm you will be back in Montreux. Overnight in Montreux.
8th day: Montreux - Departure
Return to Swiss border or airport or continue your stay in Switzerland at your own request.

Any additional tickets for optional excursions to travel by rail, boat, postal coaches and cable cars can be purchased at 25% - 50 % of the regular basis.

Any amendments to change of travel date, change of hotel category or name change will be subject to an amendment fee of SFr. 65.
