DAY 01 GENEVA/ZURICH - ZERMATT

From the Swiss border or airport, board a 2nd class train to arrive at Zermatt. Stay overnight at Zermatt and relax at the exotic alpine resort, located at the foot hills of Matterhorn. This is an entirely pollution free destination, which allows only electric-cars and horse-drawn sleighs.

DAY 02 ZERMATT

Trip to Gornergrat at the height of 3089 meters will let you to relish the beauty of the Alps. This must see destination has been attracting tourists and honeymoon couples since ages. Make sure to ride the highest open-air cogwheel railway of Europe- Gornergrat Bahn. This train departs everyday at an interval of 24 minutes. It rises to a height of 9.339 kilometers. The journey by this railway is an amazing experience, crossing the impressive bridges, tunnels and galleries. Cherish the breathtaking natural beauty on your way. The forested lands, alpine meadows and gorges are simply enticing. Get the view of the peaks of the Alps and the second longest glacier in the Alps.

DAY 03 ZERMATT – GENEVA/ZURICH

After spending some great time at Gornergrat, return back to Zermatt. You may choose to stay an extra night here. You can otherwise return to Swiss border or airport. if you wish, you can continue staying at Switzerland by requesting the authorities.
